Triton by InMode — three wavelengths, every skin tone
We use the Triton by InMode, a medical-grade platform that puts three hair-removal wavelengths in one device: Alexandrite (755nm), Diode (810nm), and Nd:YAG (1064nm).

Why that matters: many lasers use a single wavelength, so every patient gets fitted to the machine. The Triton fires two wavelengths together in one pulse, which lets a single pass reach follicles at different depths — from finer facial hair to coarse, deep-rooted hair on the legs and back. The Duo Light handpiece pairs Alexandrite and Diode for lighter skin (Fitzpatrick I–III); the Duo Dark handpiece pairs Diode with Nd:YAG, which is less absorbed by surface pigment, for deeper skin tones (Fitzpatrick IV–VI). Laser hair removal at RELUXE uses the Triton by InMode laser to deliver concentrated light energy directly into the hair follicle, where melanin — the pigment that gives hair its color — absorbs that energy as heat. That heat damages the follicle during its active growth phase, significantly reducing its ability to produce new hair. Because the laser targets pigment rather than surrounding tissue, it leaves the skin itself largely unaffected. Built-in cooling makes modern treatments far more comfortable than older technology, and lets your provider treat everything from small facial areas to the full body in a single visit.
Hair grows in cycles, and only about 20-30% of follicles are in the active growth phase at any given time — which is why laser hair removal requires a series of sessions rather than a single treatment. Most patients complete 6-10 sessions spaced 4-8 weeks apart, depending on the area. Over the course of that series, you can typically expect 70-90% hair reduction. Prep & Aftercare
Before your visit
- Shave the area 12–24 hrs before (no waxing, plucking, or threading for 4+ weeks).
- Avoid self-tanner & significant sun for 2 weeks pre-treatment.
- Pause photosensitizing products/meds as advised by your provider.
- Arrive with clean, lotion-/deodorant-free skin on the area.
After your visit
- Mild redness/follicular bumps are normal and fade within hours–1 day.
- Cool compresses + gentle lotion/aloe as needed; avoid hot tubs/sauna 24–48 hrs.
- No plucking/waxing between sessions—shaving only.
- Expect shedding of treated hairs in 1–2 weeks (looks like “pepper spots”).
- SPF daily; limit sun for 2 weeks post.
