Our Approach to Results
We take your results seriously. Every treatment at RELUXE is personalized by an experienced provider — your anatomy, your goals, and your history all shape the plan. We stand behind that care.
That said, aesthetic treatments interact with your unique biology, and outcomes can vary from person to person. Factors like how you metabolize a neuromodulator, how your tissue responds to filler, and how your skin heals after a resurfacing treatment are all individual. No provider — at any practice — can fully predict that in advance.
What we can control is how we respond. If something isn't where you hoped it would be, we want to hear about it and we want to help. This page explains how that process works.
What to Expect After Treatment
Most aesthetic treatments don't show their full result immediately — and that's normal. Before evaluating how a treatment went, it helps to understand the typical timeline.
- Neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport, Jeuveau, Daxxify): Full effect typically appears within 7–14 days. The muscle continues to relax during that window, so early results are not the final result.
- Dermal fillers: Swelling and minor unevenness are normal in the first 1–2 weeks. Volume and contour settle as the initial swelling resolves.
- RF microneedling and Morpheus8: Collagen remodeling is a gradual process. Results continue to develop over 4–12 weeks, with peak improvement often visible at the 3-month mark.
- Chemical peels and laser treatments: Skin may look worse before it looks better during the healing phase. Texture and tone improvements emerge over days to weeks depending on the depth of treatment.
Give your treatment time before drawing conclusions. If you have questions during recovery, reach out — we're always happy to help you understand what you're seeing.
Your 2-Week Follow-Up
For most injectable treatments, we encourage every patient to schedule a follow-up appointment at 2 weeks post-treatment. This is a standard part of how we care for you — not something reserved for problems.
At your 2-week follow-up, your provider can:
- Assess how the treatment has settled and whether the result meets your goal
- Make adjustments where needed — a small touch-up for tox, a minor filler refinement, or targeted placement in an area that didn't respond as expected
- Discuss next steps, alternative approaches, or a longer-term plan based on what they see
- Answer any questions you have about what you're experiencing
This window matters. At 2 weeks, your provider can see exactly how your body responded and still make meaningful, targeted adjustments. Once 30–60 days have passed, the treatment has fully set and the options for fine-tuning become much more limited.
If your treatment included a follow-up in the plan, it will be noted in your aftercare instructions. If you're unsure, just reach out and we'll get you scheduled.
If You're Not Happy With Your Results
We hear you, and we want to help. This kind of feedback is important to us — it helps us understand your goals more fully and improve our approach for your next visit.
The first step is always a follow-up appointment so your provider can assess what's happening in person. Treatment concerns are difficult to evaluate without actually seeing you.
- Within the 2-week window: This is the ideal time to reach out. Your provider can often make adjustments that directly address what you're seeing — a small touch-up, additional product, or targeted refinement.
- After the 2-week window: We'll still see you. We want to understand your concern and discuss realistic options. Adjustments may be more limited depending on the treatment and how much time has passed, but we'll always work with you to identify a path forward.
Our providers will work with you to find the best next step — whether that's a touch-up, a revised technique on your next visit, or a different treatment approach entirely. We don't consider a patient's experience closed until they feel heard and have a clear plan.
Our Refund Policy for Services
Because aesthetic treatments are customized medical services performed by licensed providers, services rendered are non-refundable. This is consistent with how medical services work broadly — once a treatment has been administered, it cannot be reversed or returned.
We know that can feel frustrating when the result isn't what you hoped for. What we want you to know is that a non-refundable policy doesn't mean we walk away — it means we direct our energy toward actually solving the problem instead.
What we can do:
- See you for a follow-up to assess and address the concern
- Provide a complementary touch-up when clinically appropriate
- Adjust our approach on your next treatment based on what we learned
- Recommend an alternative treatment better suited to your goal
Packages and prepaid sessions: Packages are non-refundable once services have begun. However, if you'd like to stop using a package and apply the remaining value toward a different service, we may be able to convert it to account credit. See our Package & Voucher Policy for full details, or email help@reluxemedspa.com to discuss your situation.
