Gift Card Terms

The short version

  • Gift cards are redeemable for products and services at either RELUXE location, including for tips.
  • Gift cards are stackable with packages, memberships, account credit, and other offers (unless an offer says otherwise).
  • Gift cards are non-refundable and have no cash value (except as required by law).
  • Promotional bonus cards cannot be redeemed during the active promotion period or within 7 days of purchase — whichever is later.

1. General Terms

  • Redeemable for products and services at RELUXE Med Spa; not redeemable for cash (except as required by law).
  • No expiration dates or inactivity fees unless required by state law disclosures.
  • Please treat gift cards like cash; lost or stolen cards may not be replaced.
  • Gift cards are non-transferable after purchase as a general rule (see Section 7) and resale is prohibited.
  • Gift cards are non-refundable except as required by law.
  • Balances may be checked at our front desk or by contacting us.

2. Activation & Use

  • Digital gift cards are usable immediately upon order confirmation. The recipient receives the code by email.
  • Physical gift cards are usable when received in-spa.
  • Gift cards may be used in full or in partial amounts; remaining balances stay on the card for future use.
  • Gift cards may be used at either RELUXE location — Westfield or Carmel.
  • Promotional bonus cards have separate redemption rules — see Section 5.

3. Tips & Gratuity

Gift cards can be applied to tips and gratuity at RELUXE.

Note: This differs from RELUXE account credit, which cannot be used for tips. See our Package & Voucher Policy for account-credit rules.

4. Stackability with Other Offers

Gift cards are stackable. They can be combined with:

  • Service packages and vouchers
  • Memberships and membership pricing
  • RELUXE account credit
  • Active promotions and event offers
  • Cherry financing (the gift card amount counts as a payment toward the financed total)

Exception: Specific promotions may explicitly exclude gift card payment. The promotion's terms will note any exclusion.

5. Promotional Bonus Cards

When a gift card promotion offers added bonus value — for example, “buy $500 in gift cards, get a $150 bonus card” — the bonus portion is delivered as a separate gift card subject to the following rule:

Promotional bonus value cannot be redeemed during the active promotion period or within 7 days of purchase, whichever is later.

The bonus card becomes redeemable on the later of: the day after the promotion ends, or 7 days after purchase. The base purchase amount (the value you paid for) is available immediately and is not affected by this rule.

Definitions:

  • Promotion: A time-limited offer that includes added bonus value (e.g., “buy $X, get $Y bonus”). Standing offers and ongoing membership perks are not “promotions” under this section.
  • Active promotion period: The calendar dates announced when the promotion was offered. The end date is noted on the bonus card and on your receipt.
  • Promotional bonus card: The separate gift card that carries the added bonus value. Cards purchased at face value (no bonus) are not subject to this rule.

Multiple bonus cards. If you purchase multiple bonus tiers in one promotion (e.g., three $500 cards, each with a $150 bonus), every bonus card is locked during the active promotion period and for 7 days after purchase — regardless of how many cards were purchased.

Example: If you purchase a promotional gift card on Mother's Day, your bonus card becomes redeemable the following Sunday (7 days later). If you purchase early in a longer promotion, your bonus card becomes redeemable the day after the promotion ends.

6. Cherry-Financed Purchases

Gift cards can be purchased using Cherry financing. Cherry is a third-party financing company — Cherry pays RELUXE in full at the time of purchase, and you repay Cherry on your loan terms. RELUXE cannot stop, pause, or modify Cherry payments.

Cherry-financed gift card purchases follow the same all-sales-final rules as any other gift card purchase. For full Cherry rules, see Section 10 of our Package & Voucher Policy.

7. Transfers & Replacement

  • Gift cards are non-transferable after purchase as a general rule.
  • The original purchaser may request a transfer to another person; transfers are evaluated case by case.
  • For transfers of $500 or more, or any high-dollar replacement, RELUXE may request government-issued ID and proof of original purchase to prevent fraud.
  • Lost or stolen physical cards may not be replaced. Lost or undelivered digital codes can sometimes be re-sent if the original purchase can be verified — contact help@reluxemedspa.com.

8. Disputes & Chargebacks

If a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated on a gift card or bonus card purchase, the card balance is voided until the dispute is resolved through your card issuer. We'll work with you and the issuer to resolve quickly. Once resolved, the card is reinstated according to its original terms.

For Cherry-financed purchases, chargebacks against your Cherry loan are handled by Cherry, not RELUXE.

9. Policy Version & Escalation

Policy version that applies. The version of this policy in effect on your purchase date applies to your gift card. Updates take effect on the “Last Updated” date and apply to purchases made on or after that date.

Can gift cards be used for tips or gratuity?
Yes. Gift cards can be applied to tips and gratuity at RELUXE. (Note: this differs from RELUXE account credit, which cannot be used for tips. See our Package & Voucher Policy for account credit rules.)
Can I combine a gift card with promotions, packages, or memberships?
Yes. Gift cards are stackable — they can be combined with packages, memberships, account credit, and promotional offers, unless a specific promotion explicitly excludes gift card payment.
When does my gift card become usable?
Digital gift cards are usable immediately upon order confirmation. Physical gift cards are usable when received in-spa. Promotional bonus cards are subject to a separate redemption rule — see "Promotional Bonus Cards" below.
I bought multiple bonus cards in one promo. Are all of them locked?
Yes. Every promotional bonus card is locked during the active promotion period and for 7 days after purchase, regardless of how many cards were purchased.
Can I finance a gift card purchase through Cherry?
Yes. Gift cards can be purchased using Cherry financing. The same rules apply: Cherry pays RELUXE in full at purchase, you repay Cherry on your loan terms, and RELUXE cannot stop or modify Cherry payments. See our Package & Voucher Policy Section 10 for full Cherry financing details.
What happens if I dispute the gift card purchase with my bank?
