Which lip filler is best?

There's no single "best" — it depends on your goals and anatomy. Restylane Kysse is our most popular lip product: soft, flexible, and great for both volume and definition. Volbella is ideal for subtle enhancement or lip lines. RHA fillers move naturally with your expressions. Versa is a smooth, value-friendly option with less post-treatment swelling. Will lip filler look natural?

That's the entire goal. Our injectors prioritize shape, symmetry, and proportion over volume. We start conservative — usually one syringe for first-timers — and build gradually at follow-ups. The result should look like your lips, just a little more defined and hydrated. If anyone notices, they should think "you look great," not "you got filler."

How long does lip filler last?

Most lip fillers last 6–12 months, depending on the product, your metabolism, and how much you got. Kysse and Volbella tend to last toward the longer end. RHA may last 12–15 months. Touch-ups are typically needed every 8–12 months to maintain your results.

Does lip filler hurt?

Lip filler is the most sensitive filler area, but it's still very manageable. All our lip fillers contain built-in lidocaine (numbing agent). We also apply topical numbing cream before treatment and use vibration devices for comfort. Most patients rate the experience 3–4 out of 10 and say it's much easier than they expected.

How much swelling should I expect?

Swelling is normal and expected — lips swell more than any other filler area. It usually peaks at 24–48 hours and resolves significantly by day 3–5. Your final result won't be visible until about 2 weeks after treatment. Ice and sleeping elevated help. We schedule a 2-week follow-up to assess your settled results.

Can I get just a half syringe?

Yes. We offer a half syringe of Juvéderm Volbella for $500. This is a great option for patients who want the most subtle enhancement possible — a touch of hydration, slightly smoother lip lines, or a very gentle volume boost. It's also popular for patients who had filler before and just need a small refresh.

What's the difference between lip filler and a lip flip?

Lip filler adds volume and shape using hyaluronic acid gel injected into the lips. A lip flip uses a small amount of tox (Botox, Dysport, etc.) injected above the upper lip to relax the muscle and create a subtle "flip" effect. Filler is more dramatic and longer-lasting. A lip flip is subtle, quick, and lasts about 6–8 weeks. Some patients combine both.

Can lip filler be reversed?

Yes — all the lip fillers we use are hyaluronic acid-based, which means they can be dissolved quickly and safely with an enzyme called hyaluronidase. This is one of the biggest advantages of HA lip filler: if you're not happy or there's an issue, it's fully reversible.
