Adding VAMP or PRP (platelet-rich plasma) is $550 ($475 for members) and is recommended for deeper scarring or anti-aging goals. A 3-session package is $950, and a 4-session package is $1,250.

Single Session vs. a Series — What's Worth It?

A single SkinPen session produces a visible glow and some texture improvement, but most skin concerns — acne scars, enlarged pores, fine lines — respond best to a series of 3–4 sessions. Collagen remodeling takes 4–6 weeks per cycle and each session builds on the last. Mild texture concerns often improve in 2–3 sessions. Moderate-to-deep acne scars may need 4–6. Your provider will map out an honest plan at your free consultation.

Is the PRP Upgrade Worth It?

PRP (platelet-rich plasma) is drawn from your own blood, centrifuged to concentrate growth factors, and applied during microneedling. The micro-channels let it absorb far deeper than topical application alone. We recommend it for deeper scarring, significant aging concerns, or anyone wanting to maximize results per session. It adds $200 to the session cost.

How Does SkinPen Compare in Cost to Morpheus8?

SkinPen is typically less expensive per session than Morpheus8. SkinPen focuses on surface-to-mid dermis collagen stimulation with minimal downtime (2–3 days). Morpheus8 adds radiofrequency energy to reach deeper tissue for skin tightening and fat remodeling — more cost per session, more downtime (3–5 days). For texture and scars: SkinPen.
